Harbor goes to great strides to preserve the privacy/confidentiality of our clients.

Individuals receiving services at Harbor have a right to privacy and confidentiality. Harbor takes this right seriously and is committed to protecting the individual’s right to privacy and confidentiality in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, (HIPAA) and other applicable Federal and State Laws and Regulations.

We are hopeful that organizations, the media, and others seeking protected health information about individuals receiving services are aware of and respectful of the individual’s right to privacy and confidentiality, these laws, and Harbor’s action neither to deny nor confirm individual / client protected health information and to put the rights of the individual first and foremost.
