Families

Many of the services we offer for children are beneficial for families as a whole. Below are some of the services that are helpful for families of the children we serve.

·        Do you ever feel like you’re “not getting through” to your child? If your 3-5 year old doesn't listen, is defiant, has tantrums, won't settle down, or is aggressive - our Child and Parent (CAP) program can help. CAP is a group for parents and kids where you will learn positive parenting skills and practice them with your own child. You’ll learn how to positive behavior, state rules positively, set limits, follow through with natural and logical consequences, and the best way to use time out.

·        Our Child & Adolescent Community Support Program helps you and your child to develop and strengthen the skills needed to successfully function at home, at school, and in the community. Along with crisis prevention, symptom monitoring, and behavior management, we can link your child to helpful resources available in the community.

·        Developmental Screening can tell you if your child is developing the skills at the expected level for his or her age range. Following screening, you may choose to participate in follow-up Parent Education services to help you work with your child toward achievement of developmental goals and milestones.

·        We offer individual and family counseling for a wide variety of issues.
