Check out our NEW Blog

Symmetry Wellness has created a new blog called "The Counselors Corner", that will be updated each week by our EAP counselors who will comment on all things behavioral and wellness related.  Don’t worry, the information will be relevant and fresh!  At Symmetry, we believe that mental health has a very negative stigma, when the reality is, 95% of the EAP cases we handle address very common issues that we all face at one time or another. In addition, many of the cases we handle deal with career and life coaching, so our services are not used exclusively when someone is dealing with a difficult situation.

We hope you find this blog useful, and strongly encourage you to post comments telling us what you think and how we can improve.

Enjoy!

Wellness Tips
Old Wives' Tale Alert!

Feed a cold, starve a fever? WRONG

Colds and high fevers can BOTH cause fluid loss. Prevent dehydration by drinking enough liquids, especially juices and water. And it's a good idea to eat regularly whether you have a cold OR a fever - you need those nutrients to ensure a speedy recovery.
