Ahmed Janjua, MD, joined Harbor Behavioral Health in January 2016 as the Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs. Dr. Janjua oversees all medical programs and services.  Additionally, he oversees the inpatient physicians working at all ProMedica inpatient psychiatric units as the Inpatient Services Administrator.

Dr. Janjua received his medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical College, Punjab University, Pakistan, where he spent 14 years as an internist and surgeon before relocating to North America. He received his Residency ...

... training from The University of Toledo, rotating at Harbor during his second year of training. After graduation, Dr. Janjua became Board Certified and now serves as Assistant Clinical Professor for both the University Of Toledo Department Of Psychiatry and the Flower Hospital Family Residency Program.

Dr. Janjua previously spent five years working for ProMedica Physician Group where he opened his own outpatient psychiatric practice, located on the Flower Hospital Campus. He has privileges at numerous ProMedica Hospitals and provides Inpatient Psychiatric services at ProMedica Toledo Hospital and ProMedica Flower Hospital.  Additionally, Dr. Janjua serves as the Psychiatry Section Head at Promedica Toledo Hospital. He is also a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and is a past President of the local chapter of the Ohio Psychiatric Association. Dr. Janjua’s broad knowledge of inpatient and outpatient mental health care will accelerate efforts to enhance care through a more integrated, coordinated healthcare model.
