Jonna is an independently licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory designation (LPCC-S) in the state of Ohio. She brings over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, offering compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals, families, and communities.
Jonna is trained in a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS). This diverse clinical background allows her to tailor treatment to meet the unique needs and goals of each client.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University and her Master’s degree from Heidelberg University. Throughout her career, Jonna has served in both clinical and leadership roles across nonprofit mental health organizations, community mental health settings, the criminal justice system, private practice, and crisis response services.
Jonna is passionate about working with individuals across the lifespan and enjoys supporting clients through a wide range of mental health and substance use concerns. Her approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in respect, empathy, and professionalism. Currently, Jonna sees EAP clients on a virtual (video or phone) basis only.
