Harbor's Women’s Residential Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program serves women (age 18+) and lasts an average of 10 weeks. Residents learn about the disease of addiction, negative consequences of use, the process of recovery, and effective ways to cope with mental health issues.
Each woman works towards goals such as:
- Understanding her addiction(s) & mental health issues
- Relapse prevention
- Recognizing unhealthy interpersonal relationship patterns
- Building a sober support network
Removing Barriers to Treatment: Challenges may include financial ability, family, childcare and transportation issues. Aftercare is coordinated in the woman’s home county prior to discharge.
Wood County Residents can take advantage of the Extended Care Program which provides:
- Coordination of safe housing placement for up to 6 months after the residential treatment program is completed
