Psychological services address what is affecting your behaviors and emotions. Testing and assessments are performed by licensed Psychologists.
What is a Psychological Test?
Psychological testing uses standardized measures, including interviews, questionnaires, and performance tasks to diagnose mental health conditions, identify strengths/weaknesses, and inform treatment plans. A Psychological Test will help us develop the best treatment plan for you.
We can test for a variety of mental health and developmental disorders including:
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Personality disorders
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Cognitive and developmental delays
Psychological Tests can help diagnose a condition or tell more about the way a person thinks, feels and behaves.
Who can we test?
Harbor is able to engage psychological testing for individuals from 12 months of age into adulthood, ensuring comprehensive and engaging care.
Who performs Psychological Tests?
A Licensed Psychologist will supervise completion of the psychological testing. A Psychologist is trained in clinical diagnosis as well as treatment and will provide appropriate treatment recommendations to help address the identified concerns.
Treatment
Once the Psychological Test is complete, a treatment program will be recommended including the services that are most likely to help you. These services may include
- Counseling with a Therapist
- Group Counseling
- Case Management
- Medication Management
